Members of the Chesapeake Bay Funders Network are funders and donors committed to clean air, water, natural resource protection, civic engagement and community resiliency in the Chesapeake region. Network membership is open to staff and trustees of private, family, and community foundations, public charities, individual donors and staff of donor-advised funds and non-profits that work primarily as grantmakers rather than as grant-seekers and share the vision of the CBFN.
Chesapeake Bay Funders Network members represent more than $1.1 billion in total assets and contribute more than $45 million annually to support local and state and regional organizations. CBFN welcomes the participation of any grantmaker in our programs and meetings, however, we encourage any funding partner engaged with us to consider joining the Network to further strengthen our collective impact.
In addition to our members, the Chesapeake Bay Funders Network supports a partnership base of over 100 foundations, government agencies and donor advised funds.
